A SCARY REMINDER

I've aways made it a point of washing newly purchased clothing before putting them on. After having read the following account from here, I'm very glad that I've been doing so.

Wash Bras and other clothing before use!

Most people do but this is just a warning for those who don't......

Read the account first, then brace yourselves before looking at the pics........

.....WE DO NOT KNOW WHAT PARASITES ARE IN OUR CLOTHING WHEN WE BUY THEM.............

This is disgusting!!!!

Wash your bra's before you wear them.

Please make it a habit from now to wash your newly-purchased Undergarments before wearing them. This is very important.

After anthropologist Susan McKinley came back home from an expedition in South America , she noticed a very strange rash on her left breast. Nobody knew what it was and she quickly dismissed it believing that the holes would leave in time.

She decided to see a doctor after she started developing intense pain. The doctor, not knowing the exact severity of the disease, gave her Antibiotics and special cream. As time lapsed the pain did not subside and her left breast became more inflamed and started to bleed.

She decided to bandage her sores. However, as Susan's pain grew more intense she decided to seek help from a more qualified doctor. Dr. Lynch could not diagnose the infection and told Susan to seek the aid of one of his colleagues who specialised in dermatology.

Unfortunately, the doctor was on vacation. She waited for two weeks and finally was able to reach the dermatologist. Sadly, a life changing event was about to unfold during her appointment.

To Miss McKinley's surprise, after she removed the bandages, they found Larvae growing and squirming within the pores and sores of her breast. Sometimes these wicked creatures would all together simultaneously move around into different crevices. What she didn't know was that the holes were in fact deeper than she had originally thought, for these larvae were feeding off the fat, tissue, and even milk canals of her breast.

Our undergarments are made in different countries all over the world. They sit in boxes and go through many hands and exchanges before we purchase them for ourselves.

PLEASE WASH ALL NEWLY PURCHASED BRAS AND UNDERWEAR BEFORE WEARING THEM.... WE DO NOT KNOW WHAT PARASITES ARE IN OUR CLOTHING WHEN WE BUY THEM!!

PERCEPTION!!!

I got the following from here.

A wealthy man took his son on a trip to the country with the purpose of showing him how poor people live. They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family.

On their return trip, the father asked his son, “How was the trip?”
It was great, dad,” the son replied.
“Did you see how poor people live?” The father asked.
Oh yeah,” said the son.
“So, tell me, what you learned from the trip?” Asked the father.
The son answered:
I saw that we have one dog and they had four.
We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end. We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night.
Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon.
We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight.

We have servants who serve us, but they serve others.
We buy our food, but they grow theirs.
We have walls around our property to protect us; they have friends to protect them
.”

The boy’s father was speechless.
Then his son added, “Thanks dad for showing me how poor we are.”

Isn’t perception a wonderful thing? If all of us see everything the same way, there is hardly anything to learn. Next time someone disagrees with you remember that it is an opportunity to learn a new perception.

TANGGUNGJAWAB KETUA II

I'll be missing all the excitement tomorrow since I'll be invigilating MUET yet again. I won't be in school on Monday either since I'll be going to PPD. I'll definitely be calling my friends to get the update of the case.

REFLEKSI
  1. Sebelum kejadian, ibu/bapa mangsa tidak pernah memaklumkan kepada pihak sekolah tentang keadaan kesihatan anaknya. Malahan, semasa pendaftaran, mangsa hanya hadir bersama kakaknya sahaja.

Nik Nor Madihah has finally made her choice. She'll be going to Jordan to study Physics sponsored by BNM.

A book on her 'secret to success' has also been launched. I'll certainly be getting a copy and will be encouraging my students to get one as well so they can be inspired to achieve excellence like Nik Nur Madihah.

Earlier, Nik Nur Madihah has been elected to represent GPMS to promote academic excellence to students all over the country.

CONGRATULATIONS NIK NUR MADIHAH. MAY YOU CONTINUE TO EXCEL IN YOUR FUTURE UNDERTAKINGS.

RELIGIOUS INTEGRATION?

I got the following pictures from here.

These pictures portray religious integration in a community (?)

In Malaysia we have people of the same faith who are not able to work together. How can we even begin to talk about racial integration, let alone religious integration?

Wonder if Nga could be seen in such scene...he did recite a verse from the holy Quran after all.

OUR MALAYSIAN POLITICAL JOKES GETS BETTER THESE DAYS‏

The following was sent to me via e-mail. I find it hilarious.

SCENE I

Sam V wishes to enhance his reputation by publishing a series of stamps with his portraits. 1 month after the launch, Sam V surveys its sales.

Post Office Chief: Not bad... but quite a number complain that the glue is not strong enough.
Sam V : Really...?

He spits at the back of the stamp and sticks the stamp on an envelope.

Sam V : The glue is ok.
Post Office Chief: But... every one spits on the face of the stamp ....

SCENE II

Midnight, DPM went for supper and bumped into a robber.

Robber: Give me all your money!!

DPM was very angry.

DPM : I am the honorable Deputy Prime Minister! Better behave yourself.
Robber: Well, then ... return all my money!!

SCENE III

One fine day, PM and parliament members were on the way to a meeting where they were involved in an accident and were rushed to the hospital. The reporters were at the hospital. The doctor shook his head, "We have done our best to rescue the PM but ..."

Reporters: How about DPM?
Doctor : We were unable to rescue him either ...
Reporters: Who have you saved?
The doctor was excited: Malaysia is saved now!

(This is mean....but stil amusing!)

SCENE IV

Sam V visited the psychiatric hospital. All the patients cheered for him but there is one patient who ignored Sam V

Sam V: Why does he not welcome me?
Doc : He is normal today (not insane)

SCENE V

Election campaign time -- an accident.

A farmer saw the acident and rushed to the scene but all the passengers were dead. He buried all the passengers (who were all politicians) .

A few days later, a policeman came to investigate. He found the farmer and asked where all the politicians were.

Policeman: Have they all died?
Farmer : hmmm......, Sam V was screaming that he is still alive when I buried him
Policeman: Why did you bury him anyway?
Farmer : Because Sam V never tells the truth

HISTORY MYSTERY

Have a history teacher explain this----- if they can.

Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.

John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.

Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860
John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.

Both were particularly concerned with civil rights.
Both wives lost their children while living in the White House.

Both Presidents were shot on a Friday
Both Presidents were shot in the head

Now it gets really weird...

Lincoln 's secretary was named Kennedy.
Kennedy's Secretary was named Lincoln .

Both were assassinated by Southerners.
Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson.

Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln , was born in 1808.

Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.

John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln , was born in 1839.

Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939.

Both assassins were known by their three names.
Both names are composed of fifteen letters.

Now hang on to your seat...

Lincoln was shot at the theater named 'Ford.'
Kennedy was shot in a car called ' Lincoln ' made by 'Ford.'

Lincoln was shot in a theater and his assassin ran and hid in a warehouse.
Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and his assassin ran and hid in a theater.

Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials .

And here's the kicker...
A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe , Maryland
A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with Marilyn Monroe.
Creepy huh? This is one history lesson most people probably will not mind reading!

AN INTRIGUING MURDER CASE

This particular murder case intrigues many, not just locally but also those from other parts of the world.

The two accused have been found guilty as charged and are to be sent to the gallows.

Many questions come to mind:

1. Does the motif to the crime committed have any bearing on the judgement made? Why was this beautiful woman brutally murdered?

2. Did the two accused commit the crime on their own accord? Why?

This is Azilah?.....

....and Sirul?

3. What about this guy?

Why was he acquitted? Does he really have nothing to do with the crime?

4. Is there anyone else involved?

One really wonders what the outcome is going to be. Perhaps we should get Grissom's team to carry out further investigations? Hmmm.........

HANDPHONE AL-QURAN

My daughter, Liyana, got to know of this handphone from her friend. I was at school when she called to ask if I'm interested since the price is a steal with all the features available. I thought that she was at the store looking at the phone.

When I got home from school she told me that the phone will be delivered shortly (?)

The dealer came around 8.30 pm. He is from Kajang. He and his wife are UIAM grads.

I am very impressed with the features incorporated in the gadget. I'm thinking of giving it to my youngest, Aminah. It'll be very useful for her to brush up on her 'hafazan'.

Though I'll find it useful as well, unfortunately I'm not as tech-savvy as the kids. Furthermore, I can't really see the small images on the screen. I'm very happy with my ol' phone. It might not be as sophisticated, but it still serves its purpose just fine.

A HEALTHY CONCOCTION

A fellow teacher at school, Jeewamalar, gave my friends and I a recipe for this special concoction:
1 cup ginger (matured) - grinded
1 cup garlic (black skin) - grinded
1 cup apple cider vinegar
1 cup lime juice

Simmer the above mixture for 3 - 4 hours till it has reduced to 3 cups.
Once completely cooled, add 3 cups of honey.

Take one dessertspoon of the concoction every morning on an empty stomach and once more at night.

I haven't got around to trying out the recipe yet. Will try to do so in the near future. After all it is good for health.

WE NEED MORE OF THIS....

I came across this very touching account of a real experience by a parent of a "special" child. It is so touching that it brought tears to my eyes.

Every now and then all of us need to be reminded of how important it is to care for and love one another, as portrayed by the kids in this particular incident.

Here is another posting on humanity. Though ficticious, the message is still clear (for those who choose to see).
