When I was studying in Liverpool in early 80's I used to frequent this quaint little cafe near Marks and Spencer in Liverpool, YE OLD PATISSERIE.
The selections of cakes, pastries and sandwiches there were simply scrumptious. Strange enough I didn't put on weight even though I indulged in the delicious cakes pretty often. Perhaps then I did a lot of walking.
I've yet to find such a place.
I wonder if the place is still around?
